What now?

How you can help:

Get educated and get active! Be informed about immigration and detention by connecting with organizations like Detention Watch Network [website] [Facebook] and Texans United for Families [Facebook] and Grassroots Leadership [website] [Facebook]. Check out the links in the right hand column under “Resources.”  Sign this petition to stop mandatory detention!

Remember that this whole ordeal is so much bigger than just Naz and I. We see the real reason why God introduced us to this injustice- to be a voice. I encourage you, have an open mind and open heart in regards to immigration and the comprehensive reform that our country desperately needs in our policies. These men and women who are caught up in this broken system are our neighbors, colleagues, church members…and for the most part, good people like Naz. Let’s see them through eyes of Compassion and Love.

More to come.

In Him,
Hope & Naz

“You must not mistreat or oppress foreigners in any way. Remember, you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 22:21 NLT)
